Norman is currently performing in “The New Canadian Curling Club” (Theatre Orangeville/Drayton Entertainment). Other performances include “Hamlet,” as Rosencrantz, and “Death and the King’s Horseman” (Stratford Festival), “Chimerica” (Royal MTC/Canadian Stage), “The Kite Runner” (Theatre Calgary/Citadel), “Fugitives” (Theatre Conspiracy), “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Gateway). Film/TV includes “Resident Evil: Afterlife,” “Todd and the Book of Pure Evil,” “Frankie Drake Mysteries,” “Murdoch Mysteries,” “Rookie Blue.” As a playwright, his work includes “Eunuch X Pirate” (Playwright in Residence at Outside the March, Tyrone Guthrie Award), “Theory” (published by Playwrights Canada Press, The Voaden Prize winner, Carol Bolt Award nominee), “Pu-Erh” (Dora Award nominee, The Voaden Prize finalist). He is a Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prize finalist. He received a BFA in Acting from University of British Columbia and a BFA (Honours) in Film from Toronto Metropolitan University. Norman was born in Guangzhou and grew up in East Vancouver.
