Melissa Tsang

Managing Director of Urban Ink

A daughter of Chinese settlers, Melissa is an advocate for sectoral and societal change that centres IBPOC and equity deserving voices. She is passionate about improving organizations’ internal cultures, and believes that the arts and culture sector can be the catalyst for change in our community. A cultural leader and producer, she is the Managing Director of Urban Ink, a multi-disciplinary performing arts organization with a mission to uplift Indigenous and diverse voices through storytelling and performance. Melissa is grateful to live on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl’ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
